Dan Anderson- Bio
Daniel C. Anderson is currently Chief of Service Pathology at the Yerkes National Primate Research Center of Emory University. He received his veterinary degree at the University of Minnesota. Following three years in the Epidemic Intelligence Service (EIS) program in the Public Health Service at The Centers for Disease Control, he subsequently received training in veterinary pathology at Oklahoma State University and Colorado State University. He is board-certified in veterinary pathology and laboratory animal medicine and has 25 years of experience in nonhuman primate pathology at the Yerkes Primate Center. Dr. Anderson's interests are focused on diseases of nonhuman primates with a strong emphasis on AIDS-related research.
