Founding CARTA Co-Director Receives 2023 Journal of Biological Chemistry Herbert Tabor Research Award.
We are proud to announce that Dr. Ajit Varki, Distinguished Professor of Medicine and Cellular & Molecular Medicine, Founding Co-Director of CARTA, Founding Director of the Glycobiology Research and Training Center (GRTC) at UC San Diego, and Adjunct Professor at the Salk Institute, will receive the American Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology’s 2023 Journal of Biological Chemistry Herbert Tabor Research Award for his work in the field of glycobiology.
