Richard "Ed" Green- Bio
Richard “Ed” Green is an Assistant Professor, Biomolecular Engineering Department, University of California, Santa Cruz. His research interests are in genome biology. He is particularly focused on genome sequence assembly and comparative genome analysis. Recent and ongoing projects include analysis of the Neandertal genome and the Genomes10K project. He is also interested in applying high-throughput sequencing to address questions in molecular biology including gene expression, alternative splicing, and population genetics.
