CARTA Policy on Non-involvement in Religious or Political Debates About Human Origins:  The current CARTA mission is a strictly scholarly one, using verifiable facts from all domains of human knowledge to take a transdisciplinary approach towards explaining the origins of humans - and training the next generation of leaders in this area.  The existence of religiosity in all human populations is one of the phenomena that is worthy of exploration in this regard.  The CARTA leadership has decided that we should focus primarily on getting our academic quest launched, and not get publicly involved in religious, social or political debates about human origins.  Of course, CARTA members are free to get involved if they wish, but as independent individuals, not representing CARTA.
