In support of community action plans to slow the spread of COVID-19, CARTA leadership has postponed the planned May 15 symposium line-up, “The Evolution of Human Physical Activity,” until a later date (subject to speaker and venue availability), so as to limit our audience and speakers’ potential for exposure to contagions. We are currently exploring other options to engage with you, our loyal supporters.
We know that there are community members out there who are hurt and maybe afraid by the unpredictability of human reactions to public health concerns and our hearts goes out to you. It is times like these that our limitless imaginations can sometimes work against us, but human beings remain robust in our adaptability and resilience.
We will provide you with further details as they become available but, in the meantime, take care of yourselves and each other!
