Definition:
One of the three main isoforms of the apolipoprotein E (ApoE) gene, and it’s considered to have a neutral effect on the risk of developing Alzheimer’s disease, unlike ApoE4, which is a risk factor, and ApoE2, which is associated with reduced risk.
