Madeline is a first year PhD student in the Cognitive Science Department at UC San Diego with Dr. Federico Rossano. Madeline researches nonhuman primate cognition, ranging from sociality and Theory of Mind to logical reasoning, as an approach to understanding the evolution of human intelligence. She has also previously studied social evaluation in pet dogs. She received her B.S. in Ecology & Evolutionary Biology from Yale University, and managed Dr. Laurie Santos's Comparative Cognition Lab there after graduating.
